Kubernetes & containerization — without the overkill

Containerise your apps and run them on a cluster sized for your real load, not a conference demo — built and operated by our DevOps team in Cyprus.

Get a containerization plan

UpSystems containerises applications and runs managed Kubernetes for businesses in Cyprus and for international teams. From Limassol we package apps with Docker, deploy them with Helm onto right-sized clusters — managed (EKS, GKE, AKS) or self-hosted — and wire in autoscaling, ingress, secrets and monitoring, and we tell you honestly when Kubernetes is the wrong tool. Part of our DevOps outsourcing, from €500/month.

What's included

Dockerising applications with lean, reproducible images
Kubernetes cluster setup — managed (EKS/GKE/AKS) or self-hosted

Kubernetes & containerization — FAQ

Do we actually need Kubernetes?+

Often not. For a handful of services, Docker Compose or a managed container service is cheaper and simpler to run. We size the solution to your team and load — we have written honestly about when Kubernetes pays off and when it is a liability. If you do not need it, we will say so.

Managed Kubernetes or self-hosted?+

For most teams a managed control plane (EKS, GKE, AKS) removes a class of operational pain and is worth the premium. Self-hosted makes sense for on-prem, data-sovereignty or cost reasons at scale — we run both.

Can you containerise a legacy application?+

Usually yes. We start with the apps that benefit most, handle state and persistent storage explicitly, and avoid the common trap of cramming a stateful monolith into a pod without a plan.

How do you keep clusters from over-spending?+

Right-sized requests and limits, autoscaling tied to real metrics rather than fear, and spot/preemptible nodes where workloads tolerate them. We review cost as part of the monthly report.

What does it cost?+

Containerization and Kubernetes are part of our DevOps service, from €500/month per project including ongoing operation. See pricing.

Containers that won't wake you up?

We containerise your apps and run the cluster — sized for your load, with autoscaling, monitoring and rollbacks. €65/hour, fixed-scope.
