Infrastructure as Code in Cyprus — rebuild it from a repo

Terraform and Ansible so your servers, networks and clusters are defined in code, reviewed like code, and recreated identically — not clicked together by hand.

Get an IaC assessment

UpSystems codifies infrastructure for companies in Cyprus and for international teams. From Limassol we define your environments with Terraform and Ansible so they are version-controlled, peer-reviewed and reproducible — no more snowflake servers nobody dares touch. Part of our DevOps outsourcing, from €500/month.

What's included

Ansible roles for configuration and provisioning
Remote state with locking and per-environment workspaces
Reusable modules so staging and production match
Secrets kept out of state (Vault, cloud secret stores)
Drift detection and a plan/review gate before every apply
IaC wired into CI/CD so changes ship through pull requests

Infrastructure as Code — FAQ

Terraform or Ansible — which do we need?+

Usually both, for different jobs: Terraform provisions the resources (servers, networks, clusters, cloud services); Ansible configures what runs on them. We use each where it fits rather than forcing one tool to do everything.

Can you codify our existing, hand-built infrastructure?+

Yes. We import existing resources into Terraform state incrementally, so you do not rebuild everything at once, and we document what is managed versus still manual until the gap is closed.

Where do secrets go — surely not in the repo?+

Never in the repo or in plain state. Secrets live in Vault or a cloud secret store and are referenced at apply time, with state itself stored encrypted and access-controlled.

How does IaC fit with CI/CD?+

Infrastructure changes go through the same flow as code: a pull request runs a plan, a human reviews the diff, and apply happens through the pipeline. That is how you avoid the 3 a.m. 'who changed this' conversation. See CI/CD implementation.

What does it cost?+

IaC is part of our DevOps service, from €500/month per project. See pricing.
