Firewall & Network Security

Your firewall is only as good as its last rule change.

Managed firewall services in Cyprus

Configuration, rule reviews, VPN setup and round-the-clock monitoring for companies in Cyprus. Our engineers sit in Limassol, so a misconfigured rule at 2am is our problem, not yours.

Request a Firewall Assessment

Firewall management for Cyprus businesses

Most firewalls we inherit were set up correctly on day one and never touched again. Rules accumulate, nobody remembers which ones are still needed, and the config drifts until something breaks or something gets through. We take over the whole lifecycle: assessment, hardening, ongoing rule management, monitoring, and the incident call when it matters.

What the service covers

NAT and routing configuration
Site-to-site VPN configuration
Remote-access VPN for staff

How we work

Configuration and rule management

Rule sets grow by accretion — someone opens a port for a project in 2019 and it is still open today. We audit what is actually in use, remove what is not, and document what stays and why. Every change after that goes through a written change log, so six months later there is an answer to “who opened this and for what”.

24/7 monitoring and incident response

We watch both layers: whether the device is up and behaving, and whether the traffic through it looks wrong. Alerts land with an engineer, not in a mailbox nobody reads. Response follows the same 5-minute SLA we run for the rest of our infrastructure work.

VPN and secure remote access

Site-to-site tunnels between offices, remote access for staff working from home or abroad, and the certificate and key rotation that keeps them from quietly expiring. We work with the platform you already have — IPsec, WireGuard or OpenVPN — rather than insisting on a rebuild.

Security audits and rule reviews

A one-off engagement if you do not need ongoing management: we review the current configuration, rule base, firmware level, exposed services and VPN setup, then hand over a written report ranked by risk with concrete remediation steps. Billed hourly, typically 4–8 hours depending on the size of the estate.

Where we work

Headquartered in Limassol, with engineers covering Nicosia, Larnaca and Paphos on site when hardware needs hands. Everything else is handled remotely, including for clients elsewhere in the EU — our second engineering team sits in New Zealand, which is how the 24/7 rota actually works rather than being an on-call promise.

Pricing

Audits, one-off configuration work and troubleshooting are billed at €65/hour. Ongoing managed firewall coverage is quoted per estate — the number of devices, sites and VPN endpoints changes the work more than anything else. No setup fees, no lock-in, month to month.

Frequently asked questions

Do you manage firewalls we did not install?+

Yes — that is most of our work. We start with an assessment of the existing device and rule base, give you a written picture of what is there, and take over management from that point. No requirement to replace working hardware.

Which firewall brands do you support?+

Fortinet/FortiGate, Cisco ASA and Firepower, MikroTik RouterOS, pfSense, OPNsense and Sophos. For VPN we work with IPsec, WireGuard and OpenVPN. If your device is not on the list, ask — the underlying work is similar across most enterprise platforms.

Is monitoring really 24/7?+

Yes. We monitor both device health and security events around the clock, with a 5-minute incident response SLA. The rota is covered by engineers in Cyprus and New Zealand, so overnight alerts in EET reach someone who is awake and working.

Can you do a one-off firewall audit without a monthly contract?+

Yes. A standalone audit covers configuration, rule base, firmware, exposed services and VPN setup, and produces a written report with prioritised fixes. Billed at €65/hour, usually 4–8 hours. There is no obligation to continue with managed service afterwards.

Do you handle the VPN for remote staff as well?+

Yes. Remote-access VPN setup, user provisioning and removal, certificate and key rotation, and troubleshooting when someone cannot connect from a hotel network. Site-to-site tunnels between offices are covered too.

Are you a managed security service provider (MSSP)?+

No, and we would rather be straight about it. We manage firewalls, VPNs and network security devices, and we monitor them 24/7. We do not run a SOC, SIEM platform or threat-hunting practice. If you need full MSSP coverage, we will say so rather than stretch the definition.
